Tennis
Tennis is a game that takes endurance, hand-eye coordination, technique, and at the high levels… good equipment. The game is taught all over the country to both young and older individuals because it can be enjoyed most all of your life as long as you have a court. You can play at a club or a public park, you can have older or newer equipment, and males and females can play with or against each other. And, no matter when or where or how you enter the game, it affords you the privilege of staying active and competitive in a sport throughout your life.
CGA provides instruction for athletes who play tennis as an organized and competitive sport; and CGA also provides instructions for those whose goals in tennis are recreational. If you are looking for private or group lessons in your area, contact CGA to see what we can do for you.
Though tennis is played and appreciated as an individual game, at the high school and collegiate levels it is played as an overall team sport. If you would like a tennis clinic put on for your program, email us today.
Like all sports, tennis is very physically demanding on players. At every level of play, but certainly at the highest levels, tennis players need to be strong and fit to compete. In utilizing the strength instructors at CGA, in which a tennis player is offered sport specific exercises in the weight room, and sport specific conditioning drills, you can reach your goal of arriving on the court a cut above the competition.
